Most of us can remember learning this little light of mine as kids right, well we can still apply that to our lives today, God has given each of a calling in life, but we have to be strong and confident or we will fade. Working this summer with kids coming from bad backround and staff who went through choices and struggles with there faith, i have seen first hand what kind of power that satan has on us. There was a time when we were asked the wash the feet of the people that God lead us to. So i sat their and just asked God to show the people. Once i opened my eyes i physical saw light in people bodies!! it was amazing and a little scary, but i knew that i had to go and do as God comanded of me. One by one i went to the people and asked to wash their feet, so i took them over and prayed over them, just praying that god would pour into their lives and give the confidence and just fill them up so full of joy!! I saw tears and laughter, and i felt engery and the power of God in that room, there was on person who was so bright that i thought i was going to be blown away, but washing their feet i could feel the engery of god that we shared!!!
We have to make sure that we don't let our lights go out!! we have to fight, we are in a constant battle with Satan, and God is just waiting with open arms, waiting for you to come and dwell in his home.
I have made this song my theme song haha silly i know but trust me little songs like that stick with you forever, this light of mine im gonna let it shine!!!! and i'm gonna let it shine so bright that you have to sheild your eyes, and laugh or cry at the power of my Christ!!! hahaha
